It’s been an exciting and eventful month for Reflex Label Plus, with our team travelling across the country to showcase our innovative labelling and packaging solutions.
The Pharmacy Show
On the 13th and 14th October, we exhibited at The Pharmacy Show at the NEC, Birmingham, highlighting our specialised solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
We know that precision, reliability, and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable in these industries. That’s why our products are not only designed to be visually striking but also to meet this sector’s stringent regulatory requirements.
Key products we featured include:
- Braille Labels: Promoting inclusivity and regulatory adherence through tactile labelling.
- Tamper Evident Labels: Offering visible proof of interference or unauthorised access; crucial for protection against fraud, contamination, and theft.
- Peel & Read Labels: Also known as extended content or multi-layer labels, they are designed to provide additional information without sacrificing packaging space and compromising the overall packaging design.
- Holographic Labels: Combining visual appeal with security, these labels feature a multi-dimensional, light-reflective image that shift in colour or appearance based on the viewing angle, making them a robust anti-counterfeiting measure.
Sustainability in Drinks Expo
On the 15th October, Reflex Label Plus and Proof Plus proudly participated in the inaugural Sustainability in Drinks Expo in London. This gathering of industry leaders in packaging, logistics, and sustainable products was a fantastic platform to discuss and drive eco-friendly practices within the drinks sector.
It was inspiring to witness the positive strides the industry is making towards a greener future.
At Reflex, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. Here’s how we’re contributing:
- Certified Carbon Neutral: Reflex is independently certified to ensure our operations have minimal environmental impact.
- Renewable Energy Initiatives: We’ve installed over 2,000 solar panels and wind turbines across our sites to actively reduce our carbon footprint.
- Waste Reduction: In 2023 alone, we collected approximately 304 tonnes of liner waste for recycling—the equivalent weight of 25 London buses!
- Linerless Labels: By eliminating backing paper, our linerless labels offer 40% more labels per roll, minimising waste.
- Stereo Labels™: These innovative labels are printed on both sides of the liner, reducing liner waste by 50%.
