More Than a Logo: The Impact of Local Sports Sponsorships 2025 – Part 3

01.07.2026

Our series More Than a Logo: The Impact of Local Sports Sponsorships continues, celebrating the stories behind grassroots partnerships that make a real difference. So far, we’ve featured two football teams, a cricket club, and a young karting talent chasing big dreams.

In Part 3, we shine a spotlight on Garforth Villa U9 Girls and Langtoft United Valkyries U12 Girls, two inspiring teams helping young players grow their passion for football.

Garforth Villa U9 Girls

The Garforth Villa U9 Girls proudly compete in the West Riding Girls Football League and are now in their third season together. As they continue to develop as a team, their enthusiasm, commitment, and love for the game shine through every time they play.

We’re delighted to be part of the ongoing growth of girls’ grassroots football. Reflex proudly supports the team by providing essential kit that keeps the players warm, comfortable, and united with a real sense of team identity and makes a genuine difference to the girls’ enjoyment of the game.

Growing the Women’s Game Together: Langtoft United Valkyries U12 Girls

The Langtoft United Valkyries U12s embody everything that makes grassroots football so special, passion, teamwork, and opportunity. Formed as part of Langtoft United’s commitment to growing the women’s game, the Valkyries give young players the chance to develop their skills, confidence and love for football in a fun, supportive environment.

Playing their home games at Valhalla, the Langtoft Pavilion Sports Field near Market Deeping, the U12 Valkyries are part of a thriving girls’ section that has become central to the club’s identity. Competing in the Lincolnshire Women’s & Girls’ League, the team is made up of players who are learning not only how to play the game, but how to play it the right way, with respect, teamwork, and enthusiasm in every match.

Their journey is proudly supported by Graphic Brands (our in-house creative agency), the team’s sponsor, whose values of creativity, growth, and collaboration perfectly align with the Valkyries’ spirit. Leading that connection is Terry Cole, Creative Director at Graphic Brands and Head Coach of the Valkyries U12s. Terry brings the same energy, creativity, and commitment he’s known for in the design world to the pitch, helping inspire the next generation of young female players to believe in themselves and their potential.

With Graphic Brands’ support, the team continues to grow both on and off the pitch, from improved training resources to a strong team identity that reflects their pride and ambition.
